Part 2 - Name of Major Bones  (Record on skeleton diagram)
1. Label bones. See Skeleton Diagram for names.

2. Might want to try the Bone Match Game 1 & 2 for easy practice.

3. Once you think you got the names of the bones down, try an oral quiz on the full size articulated skeleton.

Part 3 - Reassembling the Human Skeleton
1. Get a team of 4 - 6 students together.

2. Check with Mr. Morrill and start assembling. This may take several days and/or lunch periods to complete. Let Mr. Morrill know when you are done. He will check your work and take a pix.

Helpful Hint:  The bones are numbered. Also, use the articulated skeleton for reference.

Part 4 - Research the Six Joints of the Human Body (Record on pages 5-6)
1. Look at the directions for the page numbers in the textbook to complete this worksheet.

2. When you know the joints, find them on the articulated skeleton.

Part 5 - Microscopic Examination of Bone and Muscle Tissue
1. Get a scope and a prepared bone tissue slide. Examine, draw, and color what you see on blank piece of paper (quarter sheet - see Mr. Morrill for directions).

2. Examine the three types of muscle tissue. Draw and color quarter sheet size. You must be able to tell the three types apart!
